Those Yoga Pants…….

United Airlines has deemed that yoga pants are not acceptable attire for flying.  Well, at least if you are flying for free as a guest of a United Airlines employee.  Two young ladies were denied boarding a United flight because the gate agent didn’t feel it was appropriate attire.  They are not appropriate attire for food servers either but we can’t get away from the fact that girls love them.  Let’s just be thankful it’s a girl thing!


Monopoly Game Dumps Old Pieces

The thimble, boot and wheelbarrow have been given the official boot from the lineup of Monopoly pieces used in the classic board game.  In January, Hasbro, the maker of Monopoly conducting an online vote about game pieces with 4.3 million people taking the time to vote in a rubber duck, a penguin and a T. Rex to replace the retiring game pieces.


President Trump Breaks Baseball Tradition

President Trump will become the first U.S. president to miss throwing out the first pitch for the Washington Nationals since 1910.  Trump cited a scheduling conflict that prevents him from attending the event.  Maybe he’s afraid he will be judged by his throw.


1.1 Million Drones Are Overhead

In the past 15 months, 770,000 people have registered their drone with the FAA.  That’s a lot of drones.  100,000 of those have been registered in the past three months.  The FAA predicts that by 2021 there will be 3.55 million.  In 2016, there were 1.1 million registered drones.
