Oskar Frankenstein was born in Florida on Halloween to Kyle and Jessica Frankenstein. Judge Orders Man To Write 144 Nice Things About Ex

Judges can get creative in their sentencing.  A Hawaii judge ordered a defendant to write more than 140 “nice” things about his ex-girlfriend after he violated a protection order.  “For every nasty thing you said about her, you’re going to say a nice thing,” Judge Rhonda Loo told Daren Young, “No repeating words.”  After being ordered to stop contacting his ex, he did it 144 times over the span of 3 hours.  He was arrested and spent 157 days in jail.  That’s not all; he was slapped with $2,400 in fines and 200 hours of community service in addition to the writing assignment.

Woman Cited For Driving With 9-year Old On Top of Mini-Van

A Wisconsin mom faces a felony charge of recklessly endangering her 9-year-old son after motorists reported a child riding on top of a minivan in a plastic pool.  Amber Schmunk told cops she didn’t have enough room inside the minivan.  She went on to say she had no way to strap the pool down, so she had her child climb into the pool on the roof to hold it down while she drove.  She added that her son was safe on top of the minivan because she tied him down with a strap.  If convicted, she faces up to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision, according to the Ozaukee Press.
