Loyalty: A Two-Way Street

We know the credit card processing industry is a highly competitive one. It is so competitive that you are likely approached at least once a week from a processor seeking your business and making promises. Those promises can range from lower fees, free equipment and other promises. Our promise to you is to continue to be loyal to you, your industry and your trade associations.

If you are not currently processing with Chosen Payments, we will share some reasons why you should be. If you are with Chosen Payments, we will remind you of some of the important benefits of our relationship.

We are so much more than a utility service –

Many people see their processor as a utility company. As long as your transactions go through, everything must be okay. Where we shine is by helping our merchants win nine out of ten chargebacks. When funds are delayed due to fraud holds, we get the money released from the bank quickly because of our personal relationships our merchants.

Our Involvement in Your Industry

Because we work with trade associations, we maintain a presence in the vertical industries we serve. That presence means sponsoring local, regional and national meetings and conventions. It means joining associations and participating in events.  It means getting to get to know our clients on a personal level, learning about their respective industries and provide support with ongoing industry concerns. We have walked the halls of Congress many times while lobbying for the industries we serve. Ask someone soliciting your business how they support your industry.

Personal Relationships

Every Chosen Payments merchant is assigned an Account Manager. Your Account Manager is your first line of contact for all issues and our Account Managers take ownership of any concerns you have. You will likely call directly on their cell phone. We don’t operate on traditional business hours because relationships like ours are not defined by the hour of the day, but rather by your need for personal attention – whenever that might be.

How Much Are You Really Saving?

Many unscrupulous credit card processors will promise you rates on paper that simply are not achievable. All credit card processors must adhere to the exact same Interchange Rate set by the card brands for a particular type of credit card. There is no latitude for changing these rates. The only thing a processor can control is the mark-up of services. If you receive a quote that appears too good to be true, it probably is. Your Account Manager can take a look at any proposal given to you and let you know if you are truly getting a great deal. And, if you are getting a better deal than we can give you, we will be happy to release you from any binding contract.

What Are You Giving Up?

Let’s say that a processor proposes to beat our rate. What will you be giving up? This decision is comparable to staying at a Motel 6 or staying at a Marriott Hotel. Motel 6 cannot provide the luxurious towels, linens, mattresses, toiletries and personalized service because they don’t charge enough to provide such things. Obviously, there must be cuts made somewhere. Are you willing to give up a dedicated account manager, chargeback assistance and a personalized relationship? You will have to decide how much of a sacrifice you are willing to make. One thing is certain, there will be sacrifices.

As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to say, THANK YOU to our loyal merchants. We wish you and your family a very happy holiday season. We thank you for your support – you sure have ours.
